So long anesthesia

My third rotation is finished and I start parasitology and microbiology rotation today. Kinda boring, but at least I get to go to the shelter every day and I don't have to work weekends or nights. Anesthesia was pretty sweet. I got to see some cool cases and learned a lot too. Like make sure you calculate the largest dose of propofol so that you don't have a dog rodeo when when you go to induce your patient.

Marc is being super nice lately. He took a morning off work to drive my ass to the impound lot when my car was towed last weekend. Then he called last night to tell me that he's taking another Saturday off this month to take me to brunch for our dating anniversary. I had to buy him a pie last weekend because he deserved it. I also bought him a kick ass present that he'll probably hate but I'm totally jealous of.

Nothing much else going on, it's hotter than hell, and although I want to start training again everytime I think about the sweltering heat and the plague of biting flies outside and cringe and wimp out.

I went to the Cure concert a couple of weeks ago, but I dont' have time to talk about it cause I have to drag my butt to school now.
