NOLA yuletide
It's Christmas time in the crescent city. It's been a lovely 60+ degrees for most of December and a record amount of rainfall. Luckily our house is elevated 3 feet off the ground.
Eleanor has lost another 3 pounds making her weight loss 17 pounds so far. She and the kittens are getting a pile of toys and treats for xmas.
There have been a ton of buckmoths flying around the neighborhood. They are really fuzzy and pretty, and the males have a bright orange/red body. One wandered into the house and was quickly dispatched by gray cat.
Marc and I are heading across the lake to visit Aunt BB and Uncle Dave for Christmas tomorrow. I'm looking forward to lots of tasty food. Maybe I'll spot a red-headed woodpecker while we're over there.
